System Requirements

Magic Bullet Grinder supports Mac OS X 10.5.x and 10.6.x. Grinder does not currently support Windows or Vista, but we plan to in the future.

Our tests have shown that our products perform best when used with the system configurations listed below. Although many of our products will run on older or less-powerful systems, those listed below are the minimum system requirements which we support.

Apple Macintosh
Mac OS X 10.5.8 and later or 10.6.3 or later
Mac Intel system
Minimum of 1 GB of RAM
45 MB of hard drive space

NOTE: Before using Grinder, make sure that you have enough space to accomodate transcoded files. ProRes files can take up many gigabytes of space, typically requiring 4-7 times as much as space as the original H264 encoded files. This means a flash card with 4 GB of files might take up to 30 GB of storage in ProRes format.
